Inveraray to Dun na Cuaiche Meet 9am in Chapel Hill carpark for car sharing to Inveraray via Rhubodach ferry, to walk to the viewpoint above Inveraray castle. 4 miles, easy. Please contact the walk leader, Barbara (07412 447676) in advance to ensure you have a place in a car.

PLEASE NOTE This is a change to the advertised programme, as the walks for 22nd and 29th have been swapped. Note also this walk has not been recced since the storm, so there may be unexpected obstacles due to fallen trees.

Walk for Saturday, 15th March 2025
New Farm to Kilchattan Bay Taking the 9.45am bus south from Guildford Square to New Farm, to walk via Lord James Ride and the airstrip (WIW) to Kilchattan Bay. Bring a picnic, cafe at the end. Buses return hourly from Kilchattan. 6 miles, easy, led by Maria (07979 742155).

Walk for Tuesday 11th March 2025
Largs to Wemyss Bay Taking the 10am ferry from Rothesay to Wemyss Bay (note change of start time) then the bus to Largs and walking back to Wemyss Bay via the Ayrshire Coastal path, Skelmorlie and the Kelly Burn. Meet at the ferry terminal but do not purchase tickets until the walk leader (Marion) confirms the walk will go ahead.
