Walk for Tuesday 9th January 2024
West Island Way Southern Loop to Port Bannatyne
8.45am bus to Kilchattan turning circle to walk the southern loop of the WIW along the cliff side path to the lighthouse, Glen Callum Bay and St Blanes, then by the airport, golf course, and Stravanan Bay, Lord James Ride, the Moor Road, Loch Fad, Ballachgoy, Gortans, and descending to Port Bannatyne for return by public transport (every 30 minutes from Port Bannatyne). Please note this is a long (16 miles) and strenuous walk; dress suitably and bring plenty of food and drink. Contact the leader, Peter, if it's your first time out with us on 07925 464035.

An easy 3 mile walk, 9.45am bus north from Guildford Square to Port Bannatyne to walk the tramway to Ettrick Bay tearooms. Return by public transport, or walk back. If it's your first time out with us, please let the leader, Marion, know on 07791 903956.
