Barone Hill Circular, starting from the Discovery Centre, Rothesay, at 10am, climbing Barone Hill to the trig point and a partially excavated barrow on the summit. It gives unique views across central Bute, over Loch Dhu, towards Arran. The walk then descends to Loch Fad and back to Rothesay where refreshments can be taken at the outdoor seating area on Montague Street.

Walking boots and poles and a personal first aid kit are a necessity.
