Benmore Gardens and associated walks, 8.30am from the West Kirk car park, car sharing to Benmore Gardens. There is no longer a good café at Benmore, but you can get drinks and snacks on site, so feel free to bring a picnic lunch. Please contact the walk leader, JimC (07502475922) a few days in advance to ensure adequate car space. Please contact Jim if you are going and have space in your car.

Walk for Saturday, 22nd October 2022 - POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST
Jim C has asked that given the weather forecast we postpone tomorrow's walk. Harry will be at ferry terminal at 8:50 if anyone wants to do a short walk in the rain on the island.
An alternative walk will start from the Discovery Centre at 10am, walk to Loch Fad and the Jam Jar café for lunch at 12.
OFF ISLAND WALK POSTPONED
Drumfrochar to Wemyss Bay via the Kelly Cut. 9.05am ferry to Wemyss Bay. Picnic lunch, cafe finish. Return by public transport. Contact Harry 07801946643 for more information, or if it’s your first time out with us. Meet in the ferry terminal but don't purchase your ticket until the leader confirms the walk is going ahead.

Alternative walk for Saturday 15th October 2022
Paul A has very kindly offered to lead a short walk from Port Bannatyne to Ettrick Bay via the tramway and back, meeting at 10am by the toilets at the Port Bannatyne bus terminus. There will be a table top sale at the village hall in Port Bannatyne from 11-3, so opportunities to shop for bargains, get some refreshments, try some soup, and then go to the Anchor for more liquid refreshment!
